I don't know much about your job but if your absence will affect children, please go back and finish the year. My son's teacher "retired" without even so much as a goodbye and it has crushed him. The principal says "handle it with a positive attitude and he will be fine." Bull. Kids were crying all over the place. Take the high road for the kids- not the insane/PC obsessed/liability fearing administration.

All she needs is a pair of rain galoshes and a feather boa and she could be Ella in 20 years.

(That, or Panama Jack.)

She's way more freckled than I realized.

Huh.

Between that and the layered on bandaids, now I like her even more. ...And Carol, you're cool by proxy. =)

Fantastic. Hope you both had a great time. I am sure it was incredibly entertaining, how could it not be?!

Ugh. Dooce makes me sick. Could she be any lamer? At least she figured out a racket so her husband and she can be stay at home parents. Ladies, there are much better role models than this woman. Utah style. Lol.

Rest in peace dear hat! You looked good for the vacation and that was your job!

Dooce - love the bandaids! Clearly the feet of someone who has spent the last few months in boots and does not have sandal skin yet. That is how I spend the first 2 weeks of spring every year - with my feet covered in bandaids.
