Gourmet livin'

I hesitate, and even sometimes shudder, when Chris offers to go to Costco for us.  I love the idea that I don't have to go, but I know that he WILL go crazy and over buy.

After re-arranging the frig and freezer to cram all the new items he brought home this afternoon, I tried to find a positive in this latest Costco experience.  I turned it into a learning experience - a math problem.

We now have enough hotdogs to feed the kids one daily for the next three weeks.

It took us a couple of years, but we realized we can't shop there. And in those couple of years? I became a master at storage usage.

I can't send my husband to the grocery store, either. He says something lame, like, "I couldn't find the milk, so I got this 12 pack of pudding, instead." WTF?

I'm convinced that Costco is a breeding ground for terrorists. Every time I go there I come away with the feeling that our culture has gone totally sideways and must be destroyed.

there can never be too many hotdogs. My friends were just telling me that they went to costco yesterday and spent $300 and never even made it to the food! Buyer beware, indeed.
