Dazed

The last few days have been exhausting.  I hesitate to write too much, due to the nature of what's going on at work, but this is my outlet.

I know someone is mad at me.  I know many people feel sorry for me.  I have become somewhat of a martyr for everyone who has been wronged at my school.  I know someone feels guilty.

What I don't know is exactly why I was non-renewed.  I have a meeting with all the integral parties tomorrow.  I abhor confrontation.  Should be fun.

I have fears, insomnia and overall anxiety - so I bought a new dress for the meeting.  If it doesn't go well, I'll kick myself for not getting a new pair of shoes.

Good luck! Confrontation goes much smoother when you are right, and it sounds like you are!

Does the dress have pockets? Pockets are great for flasks.

I've just finished, after several weeks, catching up on your blog. I admire your fortitude in your career path. My cousin works in education and when I lived with her, I finally came to understand how tough of a field it is and how much of a difference good educators can make in kids' lives.

Sounds like you've already taken the "high road". Atleast you are on the right path to have some closure if things don't go the way we're all rootin' for. It truly sounds like they do not deserve you!

Good luck!
