(In the next room, I hear)
Ella: "I'm leaving this house."
Harry: no response
Ella: "I'M LEAVING THIS HOUSE and I'm NOT coming back."
Harry: no response

(Ella stomps over to where I am)
Ella: "I'm leaving this house."
Me: "You are?"
Ella: "And I'm not coming back...ever."
Me: "oh, and where are you going?"
Ella: "I'm going to Emma's house...and I'm not coming back ever."
Me: "Ok. Can I clean up your face?" (Ella peacefully lets me and grabs my hand.)

I guess she's not running away after all.
