Keeping up with the Jones

This is the platter of cookies my neighbor brought over the other day. I promptly handed her a bag of chocolate raisen clusters I had been so proud of! It's hard to compete with this. The kids absolutely loved them because they were so personalized.

Maybe next year I'll wow everyone with...well, getting my cards mailed before Christmas Day.

I was thinking of you yesterday. I hope this holiday season has been a little easier for you than the last few were.

The cookies are cute, but your creation included chocolate--that'd win every time in my book. :)

Merry Christmas!

Wow. Personalized cookies.

She? He? definitely gets a gold star.

The delicious and usually home made presents from Utah neighbors really reminds a working mother how much IS or IS NOT doing at home. We packaged "reindeer food" (aka trail mix) and called it a day.

Gosh - the pressure.
This is what you do:
buy Pillsbury quick bread mix, in the cranberry orange flavor and whip it up in the mixer. Put it in a foil baking pan and wrap it like a gift.
Do this six times.
Takes about an hour.
Impresses everyone.
(If they ask for the recipe, tell them it's on the bag of cranberries- which it is.)

Happy and merry to you and yours.
